Comments: One of Beverly's and my most interesting and enjoyable years; would have stayed except the political situation was getting too hot for our taste, esp. after the attack on th Presidential Palace, which we witnessed. Went from Ruston to Italy, then Harvard, Stanford (for my doctorate), The Philippines and Nigeria with The Ford Foundation for 8 years, Head of the UNESCO Mission in Pakistan for 2 years, back to the U.S. and Headmaster at a Catholic K-12 complex for 14 years, and (after retirement) teaching math in community college for another 10 years. Now retired completely, playing golf, following Stanford sports, and traveling. We remember Ruston and our friends and students fondly.

Later graduated MITas a biochemist, worked in oxygen and cancer research and settled in Oregon since 1952. Am now 85, retired, with 2 daughters & 3 grandkids. Would love to correspond.
